ISSUE 29_ETUDE TO MEDIOCRACY _BY G _SUBJECTS_ # . DEAR ARCHITECTURE SCHOOL...an avant gardening, is a prostitution, attempts to contain recreational activities, containing to be observed, contained to be 'shaken', the architecture hierarchy inside its marketplace as architecture proceeds as follows: consumer object: (slavery/integrant) the promitive object is the building, it is but a model. thus these visual constructs, like nice smelling lemons or foul smelling fish have a value, a value as 'ingredients'. product object: (prostitution) architectures and architects who supersede being tools for consumers are allowed the privilege of being merchants, the one whose objects are bought, this relationship is best understood as prostitution. precedent object: (artificial/artifice) the original object [s] to which the product can be made from, there is a 'grower' of 'precedent', the farmer and cultivator, this is the manufacturing from the natural, existing to be stolen and superseded by another, and re-produced. patron object: (whore-ding) whereas the others are not poltical, this museum inherently documents a politics of mediocracy. It implies the existence of a consummation: that the prostitute is working, the produce is on sale, and there are farmers, somehow, somewhere. . . .
